Entry-Level Application Services Support Associate

Responsibilities
As an Entry Level Applications Services Support Associate you will provide day-to-day production support, in a managed service model,  for one or more products or applications that are within the portfolio of services that Accenture will provide.
 
Responsibilities include:
- Investigating and resolving incidents related to application supported, escalating as necessary.
- Performing root cause analysis on problems related to application supported
- Participating in changes required to implement solutions.
- Suggesting workarounds and solutions to problems, and implementing said solutions/workarounds.
- Determining the root causes of identified problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate degree (with a graduation date no later than May, 2017)
  • A track record of strong academic performance (2.8 or higher cumulative GPA)  

Other Professional Skill Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Solid technical foundation with a desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, especially Excel and Visio
  • . Experience in C#, Cobol/Mainframe, .NET, Java, Oracle PL/SQL, DB2 is a plus
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Candidates must be located within the Chicago, IL area or commutable distance.
