A Scrum Master is responsible for moving our Solution Teams forward following our Agile Development Life Cycle (ADLC). The Scrum Master/Development Team Lead will serve as a dedicated team member who has the primary responsibility to support their self-organizing, self-managing team successfully achieve their daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives. They do so by effectively applying, implementing and enforcing Scrum principles and practices, facilitating continuous improvement, and identifying and removing team impediments. The Scrum Master/Development Team Lead will also help protect the team from outside influences, which could otherwise interfere with the team’s ability to deliver value in a short time-box (iteration). The Scrum Master/Development Team Lead will mentor the empowered teams and serves as the leadership proxy whose role is to assist the team in its transition to the new method, continuously facilitate a team dynamic intended to maximize performance of the team, and by continuously improving agile practices.
Basic Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship; No Dual Citizenship
  • 6 years of experience in developing in multiple software development project teams
  • 3 years of experience in leading multiple agile software development project teams
  • Bachelor's or appropriate relevant experience
  • 2 years of Scrum Master/Development Team Lead experience with Agile development methodologies and processes on actual multiple project/program engagements required

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
