Industry Solutions & Services Senior Manager (Multiple Positions)

Responsibilities:

Industry Solutions & Services Senior Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; Florham Park, NJ): Identify, assess and solve complex business problems in the area of Life Sciences Research & Development (R&D) and advise on the design, implementation and deployment of organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, process, or sourcing decisions. Identify possible enabling IT solutions to support the business problem or opportunity being addressed. Play a wide variety of roles related to delivery and sales, shaping solutions for clients and maintaining and growing industry as their center of gravity. Develop and refresh industry go-to-market strategies to drive sales and grow market share based on industry-specific assets, offerings and business services. Build and maintain the internal network (ecosystem) to advance industry solutions in the marketplace and align and mobilize internal resources. Apply industry knowledge and expertise to deliver industry solutions and business services, providing subject matter expertise, market leadership, and thought leadership. Create and strengthen the link between industry challenges and Accenture offerings, supporting further development of credentials for our business services, offerings and campaigns. Shape our business by developing the most innovative and differentiated industry assets and offerings to create value for our clients. Set strategic direction to establish near-term goals for areas of responsibility. Interact with senior management levels at client and/or within Accenture. Determine objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Manage a team of consultants.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, or a related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate) in a Life Sciences company or in the Life Sciences consulting industry.

• Of the required experience, 4 years of experience must be in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently): Working in Life Sciences R&D (clinical/pharmacovigilance/regulatory/medical affairs), or related areas, including Contract Research Organization (CRO); working with executives in Life Sciences R&D; applying issue-based problem solving to Life Sciences R&D functional or cross-functional projects; developing structured communications (written and oral); providing on time and on budget high quality Life Sciences R&D project delivery; and, leading teams towards project outcomes.

• Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
