Job description:

Duck Creek Program / Project Lead professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique insurance business (primarily P&C Policy) and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

• Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

• Sets strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.

• Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 + years of experience in one or more of the following Insurance technology domains: underwriting, policy administration, and related technologies.
  • Experience with insurance packages including Duck Creek
  • Experience with technologies frequently used in the insurance market space including Oracle, Java, Windows.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or systems field (i.e. computer science, engineering, math, management information systems, or systems analysis).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a client environment – insurance or financial services clients preferred.

Preferred Skills:

 

Duck Creek Technologies software experience OR

Guidewire PolicyCenter software OR

Agencyport software

 

Professional Skill Requirements:

  •  Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  •  Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  •  Desire to work in an information systems environment.
  •  Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
