Accenture Credit Services launched its unique Mortgage Academy in 2013 to provide banks and lenders with an accelerated route to high-quality, long-term professional support that can scale quickly to match demand.

The Mortgage Academy is a robust training program that certifies mortgage agents in the areas of underwriting, processing and closing. The program, physically based in our Charlotte, NC, Sacramento, CA and Chennai, India delivery center locations, addresses the knowledge and skill development needs of credit industry and non-industry professionals across all components of the mortgage loan file, emphasizing regulatory compliance, credit, income, assets and appraisals. Since the inception of our program in 2013, more than 400 people have attended the Mortgage Academy globally.

About the Mortgage Academy

The Mortgage Academy draws on the best in delivering training that helps lenders enrich the professional skill and capabilities of their workforce through:

  • Diverse curriculums, developed by both industry subject matter experts and experienced content developers, enabled by learning activities and tools, spanning 3 to 12 weeks.

  • Multi-format interactive learning, comprised of instructor-led classroom sessions; virtual instructor-led sessions; computer-based self-directed training; and social learning environments through Accenture Connected Learning that enables people from various locations around the world to participate in collaborative classroom sessions.

  • Dedicated learning professionals, averaging nearly a decade of teaching experience and 15 years mortgage industry experience among Accenture leaders and other world-class subject matter specialists.
