Paying My STEM Experience Forward

Meet Arielle Zwang, an upcoming woman leader in security. She spends the majority of her day as a Cyber Defense Analyst with Accenture Security scanning web applications and identifying network vulnerabilities that need to be secured. And in her free time, she’s dedicated to encouraging the next generation of women to join her.

A passion for IT security during college led Arielle to seek a career path with Accenture, where she was drawn to the security training and development opportunities and access to the world’s leading emerging technologies. She saw a place where her work would make a real impact—a place where she could be her true, authentic self and really make a difference.

"I wanted to jump in and be at the front of the line with incident response," Arielle explained. "And I saw Accenture as the place where my individual voice would be heard."

She has achieved certification in cutting-edge security technologies such as Splunk and Security+ along her Accenture career path. She’s creating her own path to success, and she’s ready to pay it forward. By volunteering her time with Girls Who Code, she is mentoring and preparing young women to enter Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

Arielle offers this advice for people looking to launch their security career.

“The world of cybersecurity is constantly evolving. Researching new topics, attending conferences, and meeting people will not only keep you ‘in the know’, but it well help you to see what areas interest you!”

Find your passion, and make a difference with a security career opportunity at Accenture.
