Making the World a Better Place, One UX Design at a Time

We all want to be remembered for something we did that made people say, “Isn’t that wonderful?”

For my mother, it’s her lip-smacking mango pudding, and for my best friend, it’s her love for writing beautiful short poems.

If you ask me, I’d say I want to be remembered for changing the world through my work at Accenture Interactive.

For the past year with Accenture, I have been spearheading a team of highly skilled and versatile User Experience (UX) Design experts in Mumbai. Together, we are not just designing solutions for our leading global clients.

Using today’s cutting-edge technologies, we’re creating world-class experiences that have the power to make people happy and transform their lives.

Making the UX-design magic happen
It’s always "passion o’clock" at the Accenture Studio for Experience Design. After grabbing our morning cuppa, we dive right in to understand a host of human behaviors and how we can design solutions that solve the toughest challenges for 20 of our largest clients in India.

I’m so proud of an app we recently built that allows people in India to get real-time visibility into the status of their health insurance claims and speeds up claims processing in times of need. Most importantly, it eases their lives and makes them feel more secure.

And that’s just one of the ways I do my part in making the world a better place, every day.

Our secret weapon?

Our agile UX methodology—working in short sprints that start with co-innovation workshops, brainstorming ideas, building quick prototypes and having frequent checkpoints for an early sign-off. Tools such as Sketch and InVision also help us get things done at speed.

Learning never stops
Today, my team and I are ahead of the pack because we are constantly learning and trying something new each day. With more than 200 global projects, we have ample opportunities to challenge ourselves and bring innovation to life in ways we could have never imagined.

For a recent internal program, we were trying to design an AI-based product to make an existing process more efficient and error-free. Since this was my first AI project, I was thrilled to learn more about the technology and deliver on point.

I worked closely with one of our talented AI experts, who helped me explore the possibilities of AI and craft a solution that the users loved. This is what makes a truly global design dream team!

A flexible work environment unlocks authenticity
What do I love most about my company? Our workplace culture.

Despite a hectic day at work, I can still make time to do things I am most passionate about. Thanks to flexible work arrangements and the support I get from my leaders and colleagues, I’m able to spend time at animal shelters and indulge in my love for oil painting.

From bringing my true self to work to improving the way the world works and lives, I’m at the forefront of innovation, reshaping my future while helping clients reimagine theirs. Above all, I’m doing things that I hope people will remember me for.

Build your career with the best in the industry, and do work that’s transforming the world, every day. Find your fit with Accenture.
