For Accenture Digital Manager Vandana Kabilan, life has been a journey of self-discovery. As a young girl, she was an aspiring engineer with a fancy for computers. Her interests drew criticism from family, educators and business people alike; however, mentors such as her father and a renowned professor at the Royal Institute of Technology motivated her to stay the course. “We can be who we are, learn to grow, to motivate and be motivated” says Vandana.
Now, a solution architect for Accenture, Vandana is thrilled to be a part of a network of connected individuals, to be challenged by her work and, most importantly, that she doesn’t have to feel guilty about being a working mom.
Read more about how her journey helped her discover her identity as well as encouraged others to look beyond superficial differences and welcome diversity.
