Join Accenture for an Hour of Code during Computer Science Education Week, December 9-15, and help kids explore the world of computer science and build job skills for your future.
Future jobs for today’s kids haven’t even been created yet. From medicine to fashion, technology is transforming every industry.
Code.org is dedicated to making sure every child, everywhere, has access to computer science education and the chance to build the skills they need to take on the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) jobs of tomorrow.
Since the program’s inception, over 100 million students across the globe, including more girls and children from lower-income areas than ever before, have tried the Hour of Code. States are providing funding for computer science education. Schools are expanding computer science requirements.
Last year, nearly 4,000 Accenture people volunteered for Hour of Code. This year, we need your help to make an even bigger impact.

Don’t know how to code? No problem; there are projects for every level. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills for your future.
You can even explore space with us. In collaboration with Code.org, we developed the “Accenture Intelligent Space Exploration” tutorial, which is now available in 15 languages and has the potential to introduce artificial intelligence concepts to thousands of people, young and mature.
Three easy ways for everyone to participate in Hour of Code:
- Do it yourself.Even if you’re an experienced coder, flex your coding muscles with our AI-inspired space exploration tutorial. The online coding tutorials are fun and easy.
- Volunteer to teach.Teach an Hour of Code at a school, in your home, anywhere.
- Create your own event.Rally with your colleagues to design a joint volunteering opportunity with your client, at a school or create an event at your local office.
