It’s a good time to pursue a career in cloud—and we’ll help you find out why.

Join our very own cloud expert, Tristan Morel L’horset, for a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA®) session on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 10:30 a.m. EST. (No Reddit account? No worries; it’s free to sign up.)

He’ll answer your direct questions and help you figure out how cloud migration is changing the game for companies adapting to today’s “never normal”—and what that means for careers in the cloud space.

We asked Tristan to share his career experience and explain why Accenture is the best place to build a career in cloud.

From counterintelligence to cloud

I served as a special agent within the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigation, specializing in cybercrimes and counterintelligence investigations. I gained experience working in technology and learned to deal with a variety of people and challenging situations, which helped prepare me for my role as the Intelligent Cloud & Infrastructure Services Growth Lead at Accenture.

A career in cloud at Accenture offers the opportunity to work with many technologies with our unmatched ecosystem of partners, including: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Azure, Alibaba, Microsoft Azure, SAP, Oracle and Workday. The skills you’ll gain through our training and certification programs are career-changers.

Cloud innovation at its finest

The importance of cloud has never been greater. Cloud technology is vital to helping companies unlock greater efficiency, elasticity and innovation and drive enduring business change at speed and scale.

We draw on the experience of more than 34,000 cloud projects in nearly every industry to build predictable, fast, secure cloud solutions. Our 92,000+ cloud professionals wield more than 59,000 certifications, combining vast industry experience with specialized, state-of-the-art skillsets.

Our work with Del Monte Foods is a prime example of cloud innovation and expertise at its best.  Accenture’s cloud and infrastructure experts helped the company realize increased operational agility and streamline business processes and visibility by moving 200 servers—including 50 complex SAP workloads—to the cloud in under four months using Accenture’s myNAV Cloud platform.

Innovating for society

Working in the cloud space offers the opportunity to be an innovator for society. The work we do matters—it helps patients get their medicine on time, helps families book travel to see their loved ones and accelerates important research.

Careers in cloud = careers in innovation.

If I were just starting out in my career, this is where I’d want to be, and I’m glad to be here now as a leader.

Join me on Reddit and ask me questions about cloud and my career.

Innovate every day. Find your fit with Accenture.
