We’re thrilled to report that Accenture was included on the inaugural CDP Global Climate Performance Leadership Index. This honor is a result of our receiving a performance score of A—up from B in 2013—on this year’s CDP S&P 500 Climate Change Report. In addition to our improved performance score this year, we received a disclosure score of 94 (out of 100), up from 92 in 2013.
The CDP is considered the gold standard in climate disclosure reporting, and it invites companies to report on climate change strategies, greenhouse gas emissions and energy use. This Climate Performance Leadership Index spotlights companies that have demonstrated a commitment to managing climate change by integrating it into their business strategy and taking steps to mitigate climate change. We’re proud that our efforts are being recognized.
