Robert Zippel

Robert Zippel is the managing director leading Accenture's global Technology Consulting Group for the Airline, Travel and Hospitality Industry. He joined Accenture in 2001 and focuses on the rotation of Travel IT into the new, digital world, by implementing agile, secure and efficient IT Infrastructures, IT Architectures and DevOps.

Robert has more than 20 years of international IT expertise with a strong IT strategy and architecture background across a broad spectrum of industries and roles.

Before he joined Accenture, he was responsible for the worldwide 24x7 eCommerce Operations of a major media group’s systems house out of New York and Germany, and the IT security operations of the whole group, including the first internet based corporate network in Germany.
