To coincide with London Tech Week, Accenture and The XDs staged an in-house hackathon to address issues of wellbeing in the city of London. Five teams and 30 people spent 48 hours coming up with five solutions for issues impacting health and wellness. The top prize went to the team Air Scout who worked on the brief: ‘Sick City’. Their winning entry involved a way to crowdsource air pollution data using people’s smartphones.
This unique and inspiring project was sponsored by The XDs, Accenture Life Sciences, Innovation Program and Open Innovation teams.
