Accenture’s annual recognition of International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) underscores our commitment to maintaining a diverse workplace with people of different capabilities, cultures and perspectives. For the past six years, we have celebrated PWDs on December 3rd, and throughout the month of December, with a focus on the importance of fostering an inclusive workplace and raising awareness about ways to work more effectively with people with disabilities. This year, Accenture is proud to announce that our celebration, which centers on the theme #ChangeYourPerspective, will be recognized in 22 countries.
We invite you to join Accenture’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities global webcast on December 1, at 8AM EST, to explore ways in which we can all shift our thinking from disabilities to abilities. Debra Ruh, CEO & Founder of Ruh Global Communications, will share an overview of PWDs in the global corporate landscape, including innovations in technology and workplace accessibility. She’ll be joined by Accenture leaders who will share their personal and professional experiences. For more details register here.
