Accenture Takes Girls Who Code on Amazing Adventure
By: Accenture Recruitment

Girls Who Code

The “Accenture Adventure” is what we call pushing boundaries, bringing new ideas, building excitement, embracing passion, taking risks and ultimately making an impact. As a company comprised of 336,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries, it’s something we get to experience every day, particularly since our vision is to improve the way the world works and lives. Part of doing that right means making a measurable difference in our communities, which is why we’re bringing participants in the Girls Who Code program on the Accenture Adventure with us.

Accenture offices in Chicago and New York welcomed Girls Who Code over a seven-week Summer Immersion Program where more than 40 high school girls worked alongside trailblazers in our offices, and received valuable mentorship from Accenture women working in technology. The girls are learning everything from robotics to mobile development to HTML and CSS while gaining exposure to the tech industry. They’re also working alongside the trailblazers in our offices, and receiving valuable mentorship from Accenture women working in technology.

We are partnering with Girls Who Code to inspire, educate and equip young women with computing and professional skills that enable them to pursue technology careers. Our investment in Girls Who Code reflects our belief that attracting, retaining and advancing women is critical to being a high-performance business, and that it’s never too soon to encourage women to begin their own adventures in technology.

Follow our Instagram account for photo updates of the girls on their #AccentureAdventure, then check out our open roles and consider starting an Accenture Adventure of your own.
