If you’re interested in attending next year’s EXPO Milano (which will address global nutrition and food supply issues) you can begin planning your visit now with a free mobile app developed by Accenture. The EXPO Milano 2015 Official App offers information and exclusive content about the EXPO, which will take place from May 1st to October 31st, 2015.
The EXPO 2015 app enables user to manage personal profiles through which they can schedule their trip, purchase tickets and build a personalized agenda. Thanks to the app’s interactive site map, Expo visitors will receive real-time alerts based on their location, event calendar selections, and daily news updates. The app also will provide on-site directions for events within the EXPO, and will notify users of coupons or special offers that EXPO exhibitors or partners may launch during the event.
The solution is just part of the strategy and technology services that Accenture is providing as EXPO 2015’s Global Systems Integration Partner. We’ve also designed and implemented a Service Delivery Platform that can seamlessly integrate all the applications developed by EXPO 2015 partners in order to provide a user-friendly experience for the expected 20 million visitors. Among other services, the platform supports the e-ticketing system, data registration and management, and real-time revenue sharing management.
“EXPO Milano 2015 Official App is a key example and part of digital technologies and services Accenture is bringing to EXPO 2015 thanks to its unique set of strategy and digital competences,” said Marco Morchio, managing director of Accenture Strategy and project lead of the Global Official Partnership with EXPO 2015.
The EXPO Milano 2015 Official App is now available for smartphone and tablet PCs, and can be downloaded for free from Apple and Google stores.
