Market Unit Lead – Greater China
Wei Zhu is Accenture’s market unit lead for Greater China. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Prior to joining Accenture in 2018, Wei was the Global Co-Head of Private Equity at Standard Chartered Bank (SCPE). Before SCPE, he was a Senior Managing Director at CVC Capital, responsible for China. Prior to that, Wei was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities Limited.
Wei was a pioneer in China's management consulting industry. He worked in the management consulting industry with AT Kearney and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, where he headed the two firms' China businesses.
Prior to this, Wei worked for Dow Corning (now part of Dow Chemical) in functions including Strategy Development, Finance, Marketing & Sales and Asia Pacific Market Development. Wei has more than 30 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking and private equity, primarily in China.
Wei holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a major in International Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
