Val Armbrust leads Accenture’s Child Services, Cities, Public Administration and Public Safety portfolios for Health and Public Service in North America. Her team of dedicated professionals focuses on using human-centered design and innovative technology to help clients become digital, insight-driven agencies.
Val joined Accenture in 1997 as a management consultant. She has worked across Accenture Public Service, helping agencies in developing new strategies and techniques for transforming their business processes and organizational systems.
In her current role, she is focused on finding new ways to bring success to the public sector. Instead of just providing services, her team’s mission is to enhance service delivery. She advises clients to incorporate human-centered design into their business strategies to improve outcomes and to adopt emerging technologies—including cloud, artificial intelligence, robotics, bots and analytics—to empower workers to deliver on that design in a more effective and efficient way.
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in labor relations and human resources, Val has spent her entire career combining her knowledge of people and business with her passion to serve others. She continues to be motivated by her children and the hope that her work will directly impact the most vulnerable in our communities, giving them the same opportunities to thrive.
Val lives in Boston, where she enjoys running and spending time with her family.
