Stuart is a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and is responsible for the Accenture Corporate Development & Transaction Services team, a dedicated team of 900+ financial and commercial professionals across the globe focused on driving Accenture’s growth agenda in two main areas;
- Accenture's M&A activity: driving acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, from deal origination through to post merger integration.
- Accenture’s largest, most critical client deal opportunities; responsible for business case development, financial deal shaping and pricing for all large and complex client deal opportunities.
Stuart is an active member of both the Accenture Investment Committee (for M&A decision making) and the Accenture Capital Committee (for large client deal decision making).
He is also a Board Director of Duck Creek Technologies, a publicly quoted insurance software company (NASDAQ: DCT).
Stuart began his career at KPMG in the UK where he trained and qualified as a chartered accountant. After working at EDS as a commercial director in their services business, he joined the Accenture big deal sales team in the London office in 1996. Since then he's served in a number of different roles at Accenture, including sales lead roles, diamond client commercial director and various deal related roles in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
