Deborah Goldstock Ringel is General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Accenture Federal Services, which serves clients across all sectors of the US federal government—defense, intelligence, public safety, health, and civilian. In this role, she directs all legal services for the company, leads the ethics and compliance program, and serves as the legal advisor to the company board.
Ringel joined Accenture's global Litigation & Disputes Group as an attorney in 2013 and moved to Accenture Federal Services as Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary in 2016. Ringel began her career as a prosecutor at the New York County District Attorney's Office, where she served in the Trial Division and the Official Corruption Unit. Before joining Accenture, she practiced at Dickstein Shapiro LLP, focusing on business litigation and government investigation matters and taught Legal Rhetoric at the American University Washington College of Law.
Ringel received her B.A. from Cornell University and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. She is a member of the President's Council of Cornell Women, which enhances leadership opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and alumnae. She is admitted to practice in New York and Washington, D.C., and is registered as a Corporate Counsel with the Virginia State Bar.
