Accenture named a leader in supply chain ecosystems services

Accenture has been named a leader in the IDC MarketScape Worldwide Supply Chain All Other Ecosystems Services 2021 Vendor Assessment.

This assessment looks at a range of supply chain technology ecosystems other than SAP and Oracle (which have their own dedicated assessments). It mentions that Accenture supports a broad range of vendors in the SCM space: “Notable vendors include Blue Yonder, Coupa-Llama soft, Kinaxis, o9, OMP, Infor, E2open, and Anaplan”.

The report highlights Accenture’s strengths across these multiple technology ecosystems, especially its end-to-end transformative approach and its focus on delivering value at speed and scale for clients through long-term responsive relationships.

Accenture’s ability to support a supply chain transformation end-to-end—from strategy to operating model design to day-to-day operations—is also recognized, as is its ability to help companies to transform linear supply chains into digital supply networks that are responsive, efficient, sustainable, customer-centric, and resilient.

The IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. The Capabilities score measures vendor product, go-to-market and business execution in the short-term. The Strategy score measures alignment of vendor strategies with customer requirements in a 3-5-year timeframe. Vendor market share is represented by the size of the icons.
