Accenture teaches Skills to Succeed to youth of Ban Karuna Juvennile Vocational Training Center.
Accenture in Thailand held a special event as part of this year’s Skills to Succeed corporate citizenship program. Eleven Accenture people volunteered to conduct the Young Entrepreneur Development (YEDP) Program for 30 students at Ban Karuna Juvennile Vocational Training Center.
Held on May 14, 2016, the one-day learning sessions helped underprivileged children of Ban Karuna learned basic skills to set up their own small business and giving them a chance to support themselves and family.
On an activity date, students were taught business objectives, target markets, positioning, the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place and Promotion) and how to calculate the possibility of commercial production and finance. The event culminated with the students’ presentation of their business plan.
