"Our diversity inspires my colleagues and I to work as a team and leverage each other’s strengths to bring value to clients."
As a technology consulting analyst, I help create and deliver value to clients through various ways such as implementing a tool to improve operations or streamlining a business process. Our main goals are to eliminate redundancies, develop cost-effective strategies and help clients stay ahead of the competition.
My team changes with the project I am on. Across the projects I’ve been part of, my teammates have ranged from those based in Singapore to others based abroad (France, Japan, the Philippines, India, etc.). The team’s diverse backgrounds and experiences empower us to innovate and think outside the box. We bring in expertise from various functions including Finance, Supply Chain and Procurement, allowing us to deliver end-to-end solutions for our clients.

My days are very dynamic and change depending on the phase of the project, as well as the nature of the client’s industry. From working on creating test scenarios in Excel spreadsheets and performing testing, to facilitating workshops and interacting directly with C-Suite clients, I am grateful to have the opportunity to challenge and develop myself every day, both personally and professionally.
Each day provides new opportunities to expand my skill set. One such instance was when I was the project lead for a pharmaceutical company’s global digital transformation and cloud advisory project. I helped implement a procurement tool and supervised the project throughout its life cycle. As a fresh graduate on my first project, a lead role was intimidating. I went through a steep learning curve, but I quickly found my way and managed to deliver the project successfully.
I was subsequently extended to continue as project lead for the next rollout in Japan. Soon enough, I was handling the project on my own—coordinating with global, regional and local client teams throughout the development life cycle while managing client expectations. Through this project, I was able to grow and hone valuable skills such as project management, change management and stakeholder management while striving to improve technical and business processes. I also gained invaluable insights into the life science industry, procurement function and cloud advisory.
I currently co-lead the Products Corporate Citizenship committee. We organize volunteering opportunities for the Products team within Accenture to give back to the community and be part of a greater cause. I am also spearheading the Community and Engagement pillar within the Life Science People Advocacy team. I help organize townhalls and social events to engage and encourage collaboration within the Accenture Life Science community.
I’m fortunate in having the opportunity to pursue my passion for traveling while working at Accenture. In a previous project, I visited Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines to meet with the global, regional and local teams. Apart from learning from people of different cultures, I also had the chance to explore the cities during my free time.
