While the specific type of consulting work they do can vary, it generally aligns to management consulting, systems integration consulting or technology consulting. Typically, Consultants work at client sites, which often requires 100% travel.
Business and Systems Integration professionals analyze, design and/or develop best practice business changes through technology solutions. 

Job Description 
Agile professionals define an adaptive model based on greater collaboration and communication between teams; Agile is a cultural change that impacts people, processes and tools in different ways across the organization; based on iterative, time boxed and incremental approach, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing and cross-functional teams, Agile promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery and encourages a rapid and flexible response to change. 
Knowledge of Lean project management methods. Lean project management methods are particularly effective with complex projects impacted by cost and resource limitations. Knowledge of methods such as Deming Cycle, Kanban, and Lean Six Sigma (DMEDI). Lean Project Management methodologies focus on in-depth planning, visual documentation tools, ongoing analysis and process improvements to eliminate waste.
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities: 
• Manages all assigned projects to completion. 
• Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Maintains communication with team and provides status to stakeholders at all times through face-to-face meetings, conference calls, and other communication paths. 
• Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to management. Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes. 
• Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. 
• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. 
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. 
• Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. 
• Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture. 
Basic Qualifications:
• Certified Scrum Professional/Master with over 10 years’ experience leading scaled agile and transformational cross-functional IT initiatives for Fortune 500 enterprises.
• Bachelors of Science Degree (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred) 
• An expert in SDLC Automated Build Processes, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and the associated software toolsets (Examples: Maven, Jenkins, Puppet, interfaces to Rally/JIRA, etc.) which can be used to help facilitate these activities 
• Leading SAFe certification desired with experience coaching at the team, program, and portfolio levels within an organization.  
• Experience managing multiple concurrent application teams and Lean / agile projects throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 
• Experience with managing transitions of agile delivery teams from Waterfall to SCRUM framework (Agile, Scrum, TDD, SDLC, PMBOK, Waterfall, Iterative, ITIL, JAD, Six Sigma and CMMi) and/or Lean, Tools (Rally, JIRA-Greenhopper, MS Project , MS Office, MS SharePoint, Visio, Access, Word, Excel) 
• Well versed with software development life cycle (SDLC), Lean, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, ITSM, PMI – PMBOK, Six Sigma, CMMi methodologies 
• Experience with training teams on the use of Rally (Portfolio structures, user stories, iterations, releases, etc) and KPI/metric dashboards in Rally / JIRA
• Expert in conducting audits, developing assessments, and analyzing results to customize solutions 

Preferred Technical Experience and Certifications
• Framework/Methodology: Agile, Lean, Scrum, TDD, SDLC, PMBOK, Waterfall, Iterative, ITIL, JAD, Six Sigma and CMMi 
• Tools: Rally, JIRA-Greenhopper, MS Project , MS Office, MS SharePoint, Visio, Access, Word, Excel 
• Exposure to teams working with languages: Java, JavaScript, Web Services, UML, XML, REST APIs
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) & Certified Scrum Master (CSM) 
• PMI – Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) 
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI 
• Certified in ITSM - IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation 
• Leading SAFe certification desired with experience coaching at the team, program, and portfolio levels within an organization.
