Laura Gurski leads Accenture's Office of the Chair & CEO. In this role, Laura is responsible for working with Chair & CEO, Julie Sweet, in creating and executing her client engagement strategy, collaborating with ecosystem relationship leaders, representing her internally and externally, and overseeing all functions of her office. In addition, Laura has leadership responsibility for client relationships, including those in the portfolio of the Chair & CEO. She is also a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee.
Before assuming her current role in 2021, Laura led multiple functional and global industry practices, primarily in consumer goods and retail. Most recently, she served as the North America lead of Accenture's Consumer Goods and Services practice, and previously was the global lead. In these roles she was responsible for setting the strategy, managing the executive team, overseeing thought leadership and helping Accenture clients achieve their business objectives. Previously, she was the global lead for the Customer and Channels consulting practice, overseeing the development and delivery of marketing, customer service, commerce and sales transformation services to clients in the automotive, consumer goods, industrial, life sciences, retail and travel industries.
Prior to joining Accenture in 2017, Laura spent more than 20 years at A.T. Kearney, including leading its global services and industry practices and overseeing 3,500 consultants, reporting to the Managing Partner. During her tenure she also led the company's global Consumer Products & Retail practice, where she focused on driving profitability through growth strategy and organization transformation. Laura also held senior positions in brand management, merchant and product marketing before joining A.T. Kearney.
Laura is a member of the Chicago Network and the Executives' Club of Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She has been featured as a commentator in leading media outlets such as CNBC, CNN Money, National Public Radio and The New York Times. Laura has been recognized by Consulting Magazine as one of the Top 25 industry consultants.
