DELIVERY LEAD

When you take the best traits of a project manager, scrum master, account manager, and coach, you’ll get what we like to call a Delivery Lead. Our Delivery Leads are true consultants with responsibilities that encompass managing business value, establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders and leading multi-functional project teams.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE.

● Creating a thriving atmosphere for your development team by having an understanding of eXtreme Programming practices and a passion for people.

● Working on cross-functional teams—Fusion is kind of a big deal here.

● Quickly building rapport with a business stakeholder in an unfamiliar environment.

● Managing client expectations while delivering high quality software and within the budget of the project.

● Anticipating issues and guiding your team through complex situations.

● Measuring, analyzing and communicating important project metrics to ensure common understanding or facilitate change.

● Uncovering the “why” of any situation.

● Building and leading a diverse group of people, including providing performance feedback, coaching and mentoring.

● The mental dexterity needed to handle a healthy level of ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities and continuously finding areas to deliver value.

● The ability to bridge the gap between technical and business, and facilitating design discussions with people of all skills (business, technical, leadership).

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

● At least 5 years of experience using Agile practices to successfully deliver project initiatives.

● At least 2 years of experience in writing user stories, facilitating team cadence meetings, and responding to change.
