We are seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer specializing in Node.js to join our Team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable and engaging user interfaces, leveraging cloud technologies and best engineering practices. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to robust and secure product solutions.

YOUR MISSION

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React (or similar frameworks) and TypeScript

  • Build secure and performant user interfaces, integrating with RESTful APIs and microservices

  • Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and backend systems

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments utilizing AWS services or similar cloud platforms

  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high test coverage and reliable deliverables

  • Participate in pair programming sessions to foster collaboration, improve code quality, and promote knowledge sharing

  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress

  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and advocate for engineering best practices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2-5 years of experience in front-end development with Node.js and frameworks like JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue

  • Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs

  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for front-end hosting and deployment (e.g., S3, CloudFront)

  • Familiarity with serverless frameworks and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools for front-end environments

  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for front-end applications

  • Demonstrated Test-Driven Development (TDD) mindset and experience

  • Experience with pair programming in Agile delivery teams

  • Expertise in unit and integration testing with Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar tools

  • Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance in front-end systems

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • English language proficiency (B2 or higher) – written and spoken

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

Accenture offers a competitive compensation package. As required by the Slovak law we state that the legal monthly minimum gross base pay starting from 2 000€-3000€ depending on your professional and personal qualifications in the required areas.
