- Job description

• Responsible for completion of stand-alone tasks or high-volume transactions within detailed instructions and predefined procedures, especially:
- Process of registration of orders from customers
- Process of documenting and issuing invoices
- Processing received cheques within required time scale
- Process received payment remittances  within required time scale
- Make manual booking and make adjustments
- Receivables reconciliations at the end of FY
- Ensure that reconciliation of bank accounts/ receivables done within defined timelines) etc.
• Communicating with client
• Escalates issues and seeks advice when faced with non-standard issues/problems
• Performs regular standard tasks but with the opportunity to vary work sequencing
• Solves problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions/procedures
• Cooperation on additional critical tasks under the direction of supervisor
• Carry out other duties as stipulated by supervisor
• Bachelors degree, in accounting finance or related field are plus (or secondary bookkeeping background with relevant work experience);
• Previous accounting experience or experience with accounting systems are a plus
• English and Polish on strong intermediate level is essential
• Knowledge of Polish language on intermediate level is essential
• Advance Excel and Word skills
• Good team player
• Responsibility and accuracy
• Must be able to pay attention to detail and follow control procedures
• Flexibility, within defined parameters
• Co-operates with and supports team members is required
• Shares knowledge and experience with other members of team
• Able to acquire new skills in appropriate time scales
• Basic working knowledge of one functional accounting area
• Sufficient familiarity with/exposure to a number of straightforward processes and standardized work routines to execute them
