I have been with the company since November 2006 and have gained experience in managing and leading projects for Accenture. My experience ranges from SAP business warehouse delivery to complex nationwide delivery roll out and even managing government operations across 30 ministries.
Currently, I am leading a 40 man team, managing a complex government wide operation for 30 ministries. Being proficient in my people skills and risk management, I establish stronger working relationships with the client and the team, to mitigate risk. This allows my team to deliver the operations smoothly and successfully. My working style is to dedicate a bulk of my work time to my team, to create a positive and motivating environment for them to thrive in. This includes people development, such as assigning tailored tasks for each team member, allowing them to learn and grow in their careers and as a person.
Usually after work, I would enjoy a long night run or swim while unwinding to my favorite music. I also have strong interest in football and badminton, where I keep in touch with friends and colleagues over a game or two. As part of the Accenture Football Special Interest Group, I often compete against other organizations in football matches. Other than that, I also have passion in photography and to travel around the world.
To those considering a career at Accenture, you have to be driven, motivated and persistent in the face of challenge. People development is a major focus in Accenture, and the firm will equip its personnel with the technical know-how and soft skills. Thus, it is important to be motivated, to learn and improve yourself.
