Allow me to share one of the most exciting projects I’ve worked on that I’m particularly proud of: A large, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company was looking to understand the severity of potential direct risks of climate change to their purchasing decisions for agricultural products. As the lead econometrician, I collaborated with a climate scientist to quantify the costs of climate change on their procurement. After delivering the results for the project, I was proud to present my findings to the broader Accenture community in one of our Call and Learn sessions.
Another thing I enjoy about working at Accenture is the opportunity to team up with and learn from people of different backgrounds and cultures. I’m privileged to be part of a culturally diverse team with members who come from countries such as Europe, Malaysia, India and China.
I also love traveling and exploring the world. My job allows me to work and attend training overseas, so I’m able to immerse myself in different cultures and, of course, eat different cuisines. I consider myself fortunate to have been assigned on projects in Southeast Asian countries as well as in London and Abu Dhabi. More recently, I had the opportunity to attend a training program in Chicago.
