In my current project with one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical giants, I help manage the technology activities required for the client’s divestures. I ensure sites in Asia-Pacific are fully equipped to be ready for Day One, when new users are expected to move into the sites.
My typical day starts by updating our client on the project’s progress—highlighting previous and upcoming activities, as well as flagging any risks with actions for mitigation. Afterwards, I take some time to work on the Inclusion and Diversity programs that I’m involved with. As part of the core team that helped establish our office’s first mental health and wellness initiative, I regularly connect with our project stakeholders to discuss our communication efforts and campaigns. As a committee head for some of the internal tech analyst community-led initiatives, I also participate in conversations with my sub-committee member to plan engagement content for our technology analysts, under Accenture’s Technology Analyst Program.
When I need a break, I sometimes say hello and spend time with the wild zebra doves that hang out at my balcony. After work, I like to relax and detach myself from the day by taking virtual yoga classes, head out for a stroll or play tennis.
My favorite part about working at Accenture is how I’m never limited to just one role. Given the nature of our business, I’ve had the opportunity to be rotated and be a part of different projects several times. This helps me gain a global perspective of business issues, glean insights from various industries and build incredible connections with my colleagues.
