Meet Our People
What I Do
Every day, I wake up knowing that the work I do is helping to keep people safe as they navigate their daily lives. As a Security Manager in Health & Public Service, I work with major hospital systems, health insurance companies and local governments to support building a cyber-resilient operation.
During my time working with the U.S. Department of Defense, I developed a passion for security and making our world a safer and better place for current and future generations. To complement my on-the-job skills, I completed my Master of Science in Cybersecurity in 2015 and joined Accenture shortly thereafter.

A Day In My Life
Working in a fast-paced environment is challenging, but for me, that is what makes it great. No two days are the same, and every day, on every project, I can see the value my team and I bring to our clients. Cyberthreats facing my clients are persistent, and supporting their defenses requires agility and confidence. I may start the day with a call from a stressed out CISO trying to recover their global network after a cyber-incident. After addressing this request, I may spend the afternoon strategizing with another client on the right mix of tools, technologies and resources to evolve their cyber defenses to withstand a cyberattack.
Regardless of the point in time role, I remain my clients’ trusted advisor. Someone who, when everything else is going sideways, can help them bring order to chaos, get things done and stand by their side through whatever comes their way. The best part about my job is building relationships with our clients and securing the most critical industries in our community.
A rewarding day for me is working with my colleagues across Accenture Security to strengthen our client’s defense against adversaries. Recognizing that every day I work to advance my client’s security posture—while learning a lot in the process—makes it 100 percent worth it!
From the many roles I’ve had at Accenture so far, the most exciting project I’ve worked on was an incident response. A call came in from an executive at a global company, and our team jumped into action. The company had a suspected insider-threat case, where their disgruntled IT executive wielded his powers, threatening to shut down the business.
Our project team performed an overnight covert operation to recover and secure the keys to the kingdom. At the end of the day, we worked to ensure business was not impacted, and the company could take steps to remove this insider. This was awesome!
Off hours, I love spending time with my family and friends, running, singing karaoke and being outside—preferably with my toes in the sand!

Pace yourself, take steps to define your path and build your brand; know that every experience builds upon itself. And be open to continuous learning—this is what it’s all about. The threat landscape changes by the second, so lean on the industry of expertise to soak up as much knowledge as you can.
This is the hardest job I’ve ever had—and the best job I’ve ever had. The field will persistently challenge you in ways you can never imagine. Be open to and embrace this challenge, and be agile.
