Job Description
As SAP PP Senior Manager you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of the SAP Production Planning module. This role requires a deep understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and extensive experience in SAP PP. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving efficiency in production planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP PP Implementation and Optimization.
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP PP, ensuring a seamless integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize and enhance SAP PP functionalities based on business requirements.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of SAP PP professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high performance culture.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members stay updated on the latest SAP PP developments.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for SAP PP that aligns with the overall business strategy.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in production planning processes.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP module managers, IT teams, and business units to ensure seamless integration across the SAP landscape.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand production needs and align SAP PP functionalities accordingly.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators KPIs for SAP PP, QM, PM and regularly monitor and report on system performance.
- Implement measures to address any issues, ensuring minimal disruptions to production processes.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must have 8+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) with consulting background.
- Preferably has experience or exposure with other modules such as QM & PM.
- Must have done at least 2-3 cycles of end-to-end implementation.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Good communication skills.
