Job Description

The Ventures and Acquisitions (V&A) ISIT PMI Lead is accountable for the successful planning and execution of IT and Information Security (IS) Post Merger Integration (PMI) activities across multiple concurrent acquisitions. The selected individual will be part of the global V&A ISIT PMI team reporting into the V&A ISIT Global Lead and will be required to work with both local & global acquisition contacts and Accenture teams to coordinate and drive required activities across the lifecycle of an acquisition, tracking and reporting progress to senior leadership.  This role will require occasional travel, dependent on location(s) of the acquired organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and ongoing management of the V&A ISIT work plan, budget and project management artefacts across an acquisition
  • Timely engagement of IS & IT workstreams to ensure assignment of resources to drive integration activities, including alignment with Acquisition IT Contacts to arrange deployment of "SWAT" teams to work alongside local contacts at acquisition locations.
  • Coordination across IS & IT workstreams to provide regular status reporting to senior V&A and IT/IS Leadership, with management of key risks, issues and decisions.
  • Act as a single point of contact between Business Sponsors, PMI workstream leads and local acquisition contacts representing the interests of Accenture's IS and IT Organizations throughout the integration activities through to transition to operational teams.
  • Escalation point for key risks and decisions surfaced by ISIT workstream representatives, including SWAT team members deployed locally to the acquisition.
  • Leading kick off presentations, meetings and communication of key decisions and information regarding the acquisition to the necessary teams.
  • Ongoing identification and proposal of improvements to processes and working practices across the PMI ISIT workstream.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years information security/technology experience
  • BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Risk Management, Data Security, Computer Security, or Communication Technology required
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management & Coordination Skills
  • Excellent Project Management Skills, with the ability to manage activities across multiple acquisitions concurrently
  • Good English Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and at multiple locations (including Accenture, Client remotely/home)
  • Comfortable to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Experience within mergers and acquisitions would be beneficial
