As part of Operations Marketing + Communications, you’ll play a key role in executing our global marketing strategy, creating profitable growth and enhancing our position as a world-leading operations business.

You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on a number of areas: client-centric marketing; global events and sponsorship; media and industry analyst relations; global brand management and advertising; internet marketing; internal communications; marketing research; corporate communications; recruitment marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities


Working as part of the global Operations Marketing + Communications (M+C) team this Senior Manager will lead strategy and oversee execution of marketing programs and innovative campaigns that increase awareness of our brand and drive preference for Accenture’s core function-specific Intelligent Business Process Services offerings including / focusing on HR, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, and Finance in addition to industry focused BPS in Financial Services, Health, and Software & Platforms.

The role comes with a wide range of responsibilities including working on our flagship campaigns, collaborating with the global offering senior leadership and their teams, special projects and communications programs as well as managing operational aspects such as budget and campaign tracking.

We look for flexible, proactive, innovative team players who have solid marketing experience and excellent problem-solving and communications skills. The ideal candidate must be able to handle several projects at any one time and have the self-discipline to work effectively in a virtual environment with colleagues all over the world. A demonstrable background in copywriting or brand storytelling is preferred, as is marketing and communications experience within a global technology, consulting, or business services organization.

  • Understand and articulate our continuously evolving growth strategy for Intelligent Operations

  • Work with marketing and business leadership to shape Accenture’s intelligent operations. Work with business leaders to effectively communicate our evolving strategy.

  • Evangelize our intelligent operations capabilities to key internal and external audiences including our people, client account leads, sales teams, our marketing organization, clients, industry analysts and third-party advisors.

  • Support content strategy, messaging and communication deliverables related to key business process services offering themes and how we are advancing our own capabilities.

  • Develop key communication deliverables (narratives, backgrounders, executive talking points, video scripts, PPT presentations, blogs, social posts) to promote signature thought leadership and research programs as well as strategic initiatives with ecosystem partners and/or acquired companies.

  • Work collaboratively with the digital marketing team to develop Accenture.com and leader-led social content.

  • Work closely with the Client Success Stories team, becoming an expert in knowing our key engagements and credentials to reference in awards, annual and quarterly reports, event marketing and other materials.

  • Partner closely with our media, industry analyst and candidate marketing teams. Contribute the latest intelligent operations messaging to industry analyst written responses and briefing prep.

  • Develop a communications plan and key messages to convey our strategy to clients, analysts and investors. Support communication of our talent development and learning agenda internally.

  • Regularly contribute to a pipeline of engaging, relevant news to feature on our internal portal and internal social channels.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing & communications or related.

  • Knowledge of enterprise technology and experience communicating with influencer audiences like industry analysts is highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 12 – 15 years’ experience in marketing and communications, including experience in message development and corporate communications.

  • Proven ability to provide deep and original thinking about complex issues and make them easily understood by a broad audience. Creativity and interest in technology trends and the future.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to present, write and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to multiple audiences.

  • Strong organization, program and time management and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, shape content quickly to meet tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects.

  • Excellent executive stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent digital, social media and PowerPoint skills.

  • Willingness to learn quickly, take initiative and maintain focus.

  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a virtual, problem-solving environment.

  • Strong teaming and collaboration skills.

  • Personal flexibility to work virtually, sometimes in the office (post COVID) or travel where and when required. Willingness to participate in virtual meetings outside of regular business hours to accommodate other time zones.

  • Sensitivity to the cultural variances across different countries.
