Responsibilities

1.1.1.    Inventory & Logistics Applications User Support
1.1.1.1.    Support users who encounter errors while using Client’s Inventory systems.
1.1.1.2.    Manage day to day operational tasks generated by cross functional teams and help resolve the same within agreed timeframes. Perform root cause analysis, write SQL, read backend code as necessary to troubleshoot system issues.   
1.1.1.3.    Provide on-call resources to triage and resolve Tier 1 systems issues and requests.
1.1.1.4.    Identify and report bugs related to data discrepancy and tooling, support testing on spare planning tooling space.
1.1.1.5.    Support Client’s team in resolving inventory discrepancy issue(s).
1.1.1.6.    Report on users’ issues within the supported scope.
1.1.1.7.    Help automate tactical activities through Macros, VBs etc., to help improve efficiency and increase productivity.
1.1.2.    Inventory & Logistics Transactions
1.1.2.1.    Movements: Move parts logically in the system per Client’s request(s).
1.1.2.2.    Corrections: Delete erroneous information as determined by Client and replace with correct data as validated by Client in the Inventory management system based on investigation and Client’s request(s).
1.1.3.    User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
1.1.3.1.    Data setup: set up inventory test data in the system(s) to support UAT.
1.1.3.2.    Test new functionalities when they are rolled out as requested by Client.
1.1.4.    Metrics
1.1.4.1.    Generate weekly/monthly operations focused metrics and reporting based on detailed data analysis and root cause analysis for Task and Inventory data by writing SQL queries, and build visualization dashboard using Tableau, Unidash or equivalent. 
1.1.4.2.    Support ad-hoc requests for reports, on-call support, UAT and other operational tasks as staffing capacity allows.
1.1.5.    Communication and Service Governance
1.1.5.1.    Utilize Client’s “Task” platform to intake, triage, address and close all requested action items within agreed upon timeframes.
1.1.5.2.    Schedule and lead cross functional (XFN) meetings, as appropriate, to address issues within the scope of Service Provider’s responsibility as set forth in this SOW. 
1.1.5.3.    Summarize and communicate complicated issues to Client, including system outages (UBN) or similar issues.
1.1.5.4.    Generate weekly on-call summary report.
1.1.6 Documentation
1.1.6.1.    Document work instructions, process flows, guild both for internal team and external users’ usage.
1.1.6.2    Make training documents, videos, to support existing and new features of the systems and tooling.
1.1.6.3    ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) documentation for both Inventory modules, as well as boundary systems. Mapping data source for derived data sources. 



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Info Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain or equivalent experience Skills and Experience 

  • Proficient in SQL, write queries to pull data and build ad-hoc reports for analysis/issue tracking (must have)

  • Experience in system support and be able to perform root cause analysis to find out if it's a system issue, operation issue, master data issue, etc.

  • 2-3 years of ERP system experience with specialty in inventory management / logistics / supply chain(preferred)

  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, Tableau or similar data visualization tool is required (must have, skills in any of the data visualization tool is acceptable)

  • Must be detail-oriented and ability to scrutinize for quality of response from the stakeholders

  • Enjoys operating in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraints

  • Proven interpersonal skills, comfortable with maneuvering different modes of communication to extract information
