1. The candidate should have prior experience as software product Quality Assurance (QA) and is familiar with software QA principles, processes, methods, framework and test automation tools (e.g. JUnit, Gauge, TestNG, Selenium, Browser Stack etc).
2. The candidate should have basic understanding of Cloud computing (AWS preferred), microservice, Java, JavaScript, ReactJs, ReactNative, SQL, SpringBoot, DevOps, Web and Mobile application development and be able to participate in design/implementation review from a QA perspective
3. The candidate needs to be experienced in functional testing, performance testing and stress / load testing.
a. Design and drive the QA agenda for the team and define the QA governance, process and participate in QA activities (both internally with the project team as well as client counterpart)
b. Continuously improve the quality of the delivery through review and implementation of the proposed QA governance and framework
c. Work closely with product and engineering team to provide timely and meaningful feedback regarding test results through the use of test reports and other documentation
d. Plan and create various testing documents such as test approach, plans, test scenarios (and corresponding test data) based on project requirements
e. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
f. Identify testable events and develop the test cases / test scripts. Leverage the testing process and test tool kit to create re-useable test assets
g. Provide oversight to the test team in ensuring the necessary automation scripts are delivered and deployed
h. Ensure closure of each test phase through defect tracking raising, resolving, retesting, escalation, and closure through the usage of collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
i. Perform thorough regression testing whenever is needed
j. Collaborate with different teams in a scaled agile environment
Qualifications
At least 3 years testing experience
Bachelor degree
