Job Description

Develop and implement business solutions leveraging industry, function, and business expertise.
Deliver functional and application designs.
Ensure solutions represent current and future business requirements.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP technical migrations, including system conversions, landscape transformations, and lift-and-shift approaches. This role requires deep expertise in SAP BASIS, cloud infrastructure, and migration best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee the end-to-end SAP RISE technical migration from on-premises to cloud.
  • Work closely with SAP, cloud providers, and internal IT teams to during the migration.
  • Perform system sizing, capacity planning, and infrastructure provisioning in collaboration with SAP and cloud architects.
  • Conduct SAP HANA and NetWeaver migrations, system upgrades, and OS/DB migrations as required.
  • Ensure compatibility and performance optimization of SAP applications post-migration.
  • Manage transport strategies, system integrations, and connectivity testing across all environments.
  • Perform cutover planning, execution, and go-live support to minimize business disruption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues in coordination with SAP support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements throughout the migration process.
  • Document migration steps, issue resolutions, and post-migration operational guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of SAP BASIS and technical migration experience, with at least 1 SAP RISE migration project completed.
  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB, SAP NetWeaver, and OS/DB migration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP architecture, deployment models, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP BTP, and hyperscaler cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in SAP migration tools such as SUM DMO, SWPM, and HANA Migration Cockpit.
  • Experience with transport management, system integrations, and network connectivity in a cloud-hosted SAP environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of SAP system logs, performance tuning, and cloud optimizations.
  • Knowledge of SAP security, identity management, and compliance in a cloud setup.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders
