The performance tester will help to conduct and record multiple types of tests, record and track defects and resolutions, and track issues. The tester will be responsible for end to end performance testing in a  Cloud, DevOps and Microservices environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Agile methodology and ensure software is tested and properly documented prior to release.


What you will get to do in this role:

  • Design, develop, maintain testing framework for performance testing for Software applications.
  • Deliver performance testing solutions.
  • Engage with your team to define test cases and develop automated integration, functional and performance test scripts for APIs, web applications and asynchronous microservices.
  • Pin-point bottle-necks, bugs and performance problems from test results and patterns.
  • Provide estimates for test execution as inputs to project planning.
  • Execute performance testing and analysis of complex systems to ensure systems are compliant with requirements and can perform smoothly.
  • Create reports for performance metrics, scalability and trend analysis.
  • Log defects for any issues encountered for development teams to resolve.
  • Work with Application Developers to verify and fix defects to improve performance.
  • Coordinate with other testers to resolve test problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior Testers and Application Developers if needed.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 4 – 8 years working experience developing automated test scripts.
  • Competencies with different performance testing and monitoring tools such as Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, JMeter, CA Lisa, Loadrunner, Apprunner etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile framework is a plus.
  • Experience in performance testing micro-services on containerized environments.
  • Working Knowledge DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Code-pipeline, Bamboo, WebInspect, SonalQube, GIT, Nexus, Spinnaker etc, and their integration to Automated tests is a plus.
  • Good experience with relational database would be a plus
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic Client environment
