Role & Responsibilities
Job Description
A Consultant in the Accenture Operations – Media Management practice will be an individual with around 5-7 years media experience gained with a media agency.
He/she will lead project teams to provide media analysis and consultancy advice to a number of large advertiser clients across ASEAN, focusing on media optimization. This will result in substantial media value improvements and savings which can be objectively measured and a source of major strategic advantage to our clients.
 Typical responsibilities will include:
  • Manage a number of blue chip client relationships;
  • Interact primarily with senior client and agency personnel helping them optimize their marketing investments;
  • Transform client vision into concrete business requirements;
  • Contextualize the benefits of better media management;
  • Liaise with a number of media agency management working with them on client analysis;
  • Work with day-to-day media teams, as well as working within cross-functional teams when required;
  • Liaise with off-shore support and local teams;
  • Control quality;
  • Provide the delivery to clients in the efficient and effective manner
Successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
1) Solid Media Experience and Expertise
  • A strong grounding in the ASEAN media landscape with, ideally, a good knowledge of Traditional Media (TV, Print) and Digital media
  • Profound understanding of media strategy development and processes, trading practices, terminology and issues
  • Either planning/buying experience and/or analytical and research background
  • An ability to see beyond the "numbers"
2) Strong client handling skills
  • Understanding of our clients’ media business in the general context of marketing;
  • Ability to establish credibility with clients, act and be perceived as business advisor and partner
  • An enthusiasm for presenting to both large and small audiences
  • Ability to present analysis either by phone or in person meetings
3) High intelligence and drive
  • High achiever, self- driven, strong initiative and adaptability;
  • Strong degree score in analytical content, for example mathematics, statistics, economics etc;
  • Analyses and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity, with a good sense of judgement;
4) Relevant educational background
  • A recognized degree in media, statistics, economics or other numerate disciplines, ideally combined with broader marketing education and/or equivalent experience.
