Our Finance Transformation capability enables clients to unlock trapped value within their Finance processes and organizations by reducing cost and improving the value delivered. We do this by employing digital technologies such as AI and Robotic Process Automation to eliminate inefficiencies and we help CFOs and their leadership teams to measure and focus on what really matters through the use of Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Data Visualization Tools.

In our Products group we offer consulting services to clients in a variety of industries and operations, covering automotive, industrial equipment, life science, consumer goods, retail and travel & transportations. The Products CFO & Enterprise Value (CFO&EV) is the part of Accenture Consulting which specializes in the topics on the top of the CFO agenda.

 

We are searching for business-driven CFO&EV Senior Manager specializing in enterprise performance management and digital finance transformations. At the heart of the CFO agenda are topics touching upon enterprise performance management, where typical projects set out to help the CFO address areas such as:

  • Exploring sources of shareholder value creation
  • Making the move from reporting to architecting value
  • Enabling digital finance transformations including big data and analytics, artificial intelligence, robotics, and blockchain etc.
  • Developing steering capabilities such as the target setting, long range planning and the short-term business planning process
  • Identifying value drivers and linking strategy to KPIs and scorecards
  • Improving forecasting capabilities to predict future risks and opportunities
  • Increasing information transparency and decision support by improving reporting capabilities and harmonizing information across functions and geographies
  • Giving strategic direction on aligning systems with information needs
  • Our engagements are often executed in close dialogue with CFOs and span across multiple geographies, interacting with several business and support functions within our clients’ organizations

Key Activities in the Products CFO & Enterprise Value practice will include:

  • Build strong client relationships, identify and drive client opportunities
  • Help the client c-suite and senior management address strategic and operational issues and create value-driven recommendations
  • Evaluate the value of digital opportunities and different course of action
  • Propose integrated solutions that combines strategy, processes, organization structure and technology to address the issues
  • Develop a practical project approach to implement the solutions.
  • Define and obtain buy-in from stakeholders of the value that will be delivered with the proposed solutions
  • Lead and manage project teams to implement large-scale transformation projects in:
    • Finance strategy
    • Finance organization design
    • Enterprise Shared Services
    • Finance process re-engineering
    • Finance capability development
    • Enterprise performance management
    • Finance technology implementation
  • Deliver projects on-time and within budget
  • Lead and manage practice activities that support our growth such as recruiting, designing development programmes and events, mentoring, taking part in thought leadership and research projects, and client value assessments and analysis

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
  • Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
  • Manages teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Skills Requirements:

 

We are looking for people who have a strong interest and background in finance and commercial decision making, preferably within FP&A or Business Partnering and have experience developing commercial business cases and managing projects. Fluent with data analysis and synthesis to drive insight-led solutions and have a demonstrable track record in continuous improvements with and/or within the finance organisation.

 

In addition, we are seeking professionals with strong experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Performance reporting, value tree, KPI and Dashboard design and development
  • Experience in Robotic Process Transformation and/or AI
  • Experience in improving Planning and Performance Management processes and applying Budgeting and Forecasting solutions to drive improvements in both finance and the business
  • Strong knowledge of leading Enterprise Performance Management applications (e.g. Hyperion Planning, TM1, Anaplan), and experience designing and implementing leading EPM application / solutions
  • Finance Operating Model or Process Transformation design and implementation including Shared Service and FP&A COE designs
  • Experience working through organisational change, demonstrating a track record of taking on increased responsibilities, showing creativity and innovation, including evidence of solution design
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • An awareness of key methodologies, approaches, value drivers and/or trends within the Products industry ideally gained through experience working in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering roles
  • Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills including use of creative and breakthrough techniques such as data visualisation
  • Digitally savvy
  • Proven communication, training and mentoring/ coaching abilities in supporting the development of others
  • Proven ability to work in teams to deliver on-time, on-budget solutions
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven project and business change delivery capabilities
  • Ability to meet travel requirements
