Role overview:


The Management Consulting Senior Manager – Airports will lead the Airports business across the region reporting to the AAPAC Travel Managing Director and will be based in Singapore. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in selling and delivering consulting or technology projects in the airports industry. They will also need to demonstrate the ability to develop and manage CXO level relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the go to market strategy through close collaboration the Global Travel Industry team and the AAPAC Travel Managing Director.
  • Based on this strategy develop and be accountable for the financial plan.
  • Develop CXO relationships at selected key clients to build a platform for future growth.
  • Identify required resource requirements and recruit accordingly
  • Own the innovation agenda and ensure that innovation capabilities are continuously developed at the innovation centre.
  • Driving external market awareness of our Airports capabilities through social media, conferences, events and wider media. 

Qualifications:

  • Honours Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the consulting industry
  • Minimum 3 years of consulting experience in the airports industry

Required Skills:

  • Deep experience within airport/ travel industries.
  • The ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner
  • Solid financial acumen and financial analysis and diagnosis skills.
  • The ability to challenge a client's thinking by diplomatically providing an objective and independent point of view.
  • The ability to identify opportunities based on your deep understanding of our offerings and our client’s issues.
  • Experience understanding business challenges and explaining how our offerings and services provide value
  • Experience identifying a client’s high-level business needs and leading the creation of detailed functional specs and other documentation, such as requirement traceability matrices, work-flow diagrams and use-cases.
  • Experience working through organizational change, developing and implementing creative solutions
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information.
  • Insights on key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry
  • Experience understanding team strengths, and the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Experience managing large teams through complex situations, adapting quickly and helping others navigate change. 
  • Experience structuring activities that play to a team's strengths and provide opportunities for others to grow.
