Job Description

The DevOps professional Consultant/Analyst takes ownership of technology-related aspects of DevOps implementations as part of a client delivery process improvement, automation, internal initiative.  This role will be accountable for recommending and delivering appropriate technology solutions.


As a Dev Ops Engineer, you are the key for ensuring that the development team has an understanding of source control, continuous integration, continuous deployment, operational requirements, contribute to design and implementation of infrastructure for delivering and running the platforms.

 

This roles involves hands-on involvement in building, deploying and testing pipelines, automated provisioning of infrastructure, and relevant services. 

Required:

  • Strong hands on experience in setting up CI, CD pipelines on Continuous Integration server like Jenkins. Experience with Jenkins pipeline as code (Groovy DSL) will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Svn.
  • Experience with build automation and dependency management tools like Maven/Gradle.
  • Experience with repository managers like Artifactory/Nexus
  • Strong understanding of configuration management concepts using tools like Ansible.
  • Experience with Linux command line interface.
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure services like AWS. Experience with provisioning tools like Terraform/AWS CloudFormation templates will be an advantage.
  • Experience with Enterprise application server administration like JBoss, Apache Tomcat etc.
  • Familiarity with integration of test automation frameworks like JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber to CI CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with static code analysis tools like Sonarqube.

 

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Logging, Infrastructure monitoring/operational intelligence tools like Splunk, ELK will be advantage.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket/Stash will be an advantage.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker will be an advantage.
