Job Description:
 
Your central role in the digital ecosystem enables you to help clients manage the demands of fast-moving environments. With your knowledge of innovative on-the-go solutions, you’ll help them become digital leaders by creating strategic, cross-company approaches that increase productivity, enhance collaboration and drive more transactions through innovative services and business models.

  • Lean Startup mentality – arrive at the quickest and cheapest way to solve a problem statement to bring the intended outcome
  • Spearhead the culture of co-innovation and co-creation – team-wise and firm-wise
  • Deliver values to clients through developing creative and innovative digital solutions, often via aggregating open source or SaaS building blocks
  • Identify and recognize potential opportunities in both Greenfield and Brownfield projects
  • Confidently engage potential clients and communicate business values, leading to potential new sales pipelines – adaptive selling across differing revenue models
  • Manage development and product lifecycles across various initiatives, along with the appropriate financial forecasting and resource planning
  • Be responsible for roadmaps both from a product and/or team perspective – generate strategic thrusts and directions for revenue and team growth
  • Constantly challenge the norm – “Is there no better way to do this?”; “How can we create differentiated values?”
  • Technical and ‘Hands-On’ approach in solving problems.  Definitely not just “PowerPoint” architects
  • Engage and manage cross-functional groups
  • Passionate about Technology.  Follow closely digital landscape and identify technology trends and potential vendors/products to ingest into solutions
  • Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
Basic Qualifications: 
  • Very Good knowledge of emerging technologies in API, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud and Social and deep expertise in at least one such domain
  • Subject Matter Expert in Lean, Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methodologies.
  • Good understanding and appreciation of Lean UI/UX design
  • Subject Matter Experts in one or more of these domains: SOA, API-first architecture, API Security, Open Source, Lean UX design, Mobility Security, Analytics, Agile, DevOps, Big Data and IoT
  • Willing to travel, as required
For a Consultant role:
  • Minimum of 2 years in using Open Source and SaaS as building blocks in assembling new applications
  • Minimum of 2 years in working on Cloud (IaaS/PaaS): AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of combined development experience using Java, JSON, JSP, JavaScript and Node.js or equivalent programming languages
  • Minimum of 2 years of development experience using WSDL/SOAP/XML and REST/JSON or equivalent
 
For a Manager role: 
  • Manage teams of different sizes (from small team to distributed large teams) and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role)
  • Technically Strong (at least 4 to 5 years) in Platform and Digital Architecture technical skills (e.g cloud-first, server-less)
  • At least 4 to 5 years in working on Cloud (IaaS/PaaS): AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku or equivalent
  • Multi-skilled.  Technically “broad” but can go “deep” if needed
  • Very good business acumen

Preferred Skills and Attributes:
  • A strong business acumen while grounded in technical foundation
  • Entrepreneur mindset – always see things in multiple angles, constantly challenge the norm and constantly looking for better solutions to problems.
  • Technically strong and think ‘digital’
  • Ability to learn and pick up new skills fast
  • Strong Ability to architect and apply modern Digital architectures for clients (e.g cloud-first, server-less)
  • Experience with leading small-scale, high-paced, short-burst projects
  • Experience with developing mobile apps, connected devices or M2M technologies
  • Good imagination, and self-starter
  • Have a track record of using technology creatively to solve business problems
  • Experience of building and presenting business cases to senior management and potential clients/stakeholders
