Description 

 

The Salesforce Solution Architect responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating legacy applications and being able to propose a cloud enabled application stack that leverages the Force.com platform for a future state application.
  • Communicating common data architecture, integration with external solutions, presentation layer, workflow, and other aspects is necessary.
  • Ability to meet client executives, drive proposals and related collateral as part of Pre-Sales stage
  • Responsible for translating the business requirements to a high-performance technical solution
  • Lead the onshore / offshore development team to implement the technical solution
  • Provide technical governance to the development team to ensure following best practices and coding standards  

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with clients across cloud transformation (across SaaS platforms) with a focus on the Salesforce.com environment and related PaaS and SaaS technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Salesforce.com, Heroku, and/or Force.com from an architectural and solutioning approach.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in driving technical discussions with clients around application integration and data migrations
  • Experience in solution architecting for different Salesforce Cloud implementation projects & proposals
  • Lead Salesforce Technical work streams right from solution architecting, design through development and deployment phase, often working with team members both onsite and offshore
  • Experience implementing Salesforce Cloud solutions along with integrations to different systems legacy and external applications (With and without a middleware E.g. Mulesoft)
  • Understand the different Force.com APIs and is able to design solutions using the appropriate API
  • Experience with common integration patterns used on the Force.com Platform
  • Understand data migration considerations, design trade-offs, and common ETL tools
  • Experience in supporting pre-sales activities, from solution architecting, estimations, and technical compliance
  • Ability to maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks
  • Experience & exposure to different App Exchange connectors and applications to support different business requirements (E.g. Getfeedback, Survey Monkey, Tenfold, DocuSign etc.)
  • Experience in large scale SFDC implementation  
  • Certification in any SFDC Architect Domain will be an advantage: e.g. Data Architecture and Management, Integration Architecture, Development Lifecycle and Deployment etc.
