People in the Sales career track grow pipeline and sales by supporting, managing or leading the origination and/or closing of sales opportunities in a specific area or across a range of Accenture offerings. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles, laterally, upward, or in their current role.

 

Application Services Account Exec professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations and closure.

 

The Application Services Account Exec Senior Manager manages the opportunity from sales pursuit to close using deep sales process and offering expertise. Develop relationships with key buyers and decision- makers at new and/or existing clients; protect and grow the business. Act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally.

 

Sales professionals improve sales organizations through process reengineering, sales talent management, incentive management, and operations optimization.

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

 

  • Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients
    • Effectively engage with the C-suite to maintain their continued support of the Accenture proposition
    • Influence client’s selection process and evaluation criteria
    • Facilitate the negotiations and closing activities
    • Manage successful transition of the opportunity to the delivery team
    • Support efforts and/or gain client agreement for press releases, use of references, etc

 

  • Manage the opportunity from sales pursuit to close
    • Establish qualification and win strategy and power map
    • Coordinate internal approvals and sales team resources; manage solution/proposition develop client interactions and relevant client demonstrations, etc.
    • Ensure a competitive advantage is created and maintained

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales Execution in the Financial Industry
• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
Have a minimum of 8 – 10 years in relevant industry

• Minimum of Bachelor/Master degree

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
