Role: Invoice Processing Analyst/Associate (Japanese / Korean speaking)

 

Summary:

 

The Accounts Payable Invoice Processing Analyst/Associate is responsible for processing all pre-coded invoices in the Accounts Payable System on behalf of the client from medium to high complexity transactions.

  • Timely processing of stock/non-stock, PO/non-PO invoices, also includes debit/credit notes and affiliate invoices.
  • Reconciliation of various month-end reports from Japan and Korea

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for activities assigned by the Invoice Processing Lead
  • Processes transactions of medium to difficult complexity
  • Processes pre-coded invoices, including those with and without a purchase order.  Invoice Processor may be required to process one or all of these types of invoices (with PO, without PO).
  • Respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Ensures that all invoices assigned are properly accounted for at the end of each business day.
  • Receives scanned invoices from Scanning Center.
  • Responsible for indexing of invoices before these are processed by the Payments Processor. 
  • Has working knowledge of both scanning and Accounts Payable application.
  • Accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities.
  • Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Escalates production issues to his/her team leader as appropriate.  
  • Complies with all client published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.

Educational Qualifications

  • Diploma Holders and above of Mathematics, Commerce, Business or Accountancy

Others

  • Written and spoken ability to communicate in English for Accenture interaction
  • Written and spoken ability to communicate in Japanese or Korean for reconciliation of various month-end reports with the Japanese and Korean offices.
  • Previous accounting experience/studies in particular AP
  • Must be a good team player
  • Responsibility and accuracy in the completion of received tasks
  • Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure
  • Flexibility, especially in the period of month/quarter/year-end closing
  • Reliable, proactive approach to entrusted tasks (thinking outside the box is a plus)
  • Experience with accounting systems
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Client industry experience a plus

Working Conditions

  • Moderate to no travel depending on project involvement
  • Shift timing would cover normal business hours or depending on daylight saving time adjustment in the US. Occasional overtime and working over weekend/public holidays should be expected especially during high volume time and calendar close activities
