Automation and Process is a specialized team within Accenture’s Global Technology Services function. The team focuses on deploying state of the art processes and tools to drive industrialization and delivery effectiveness. The team is also involved in establishing highly effective units that deliver outsourcing services to our clients. 


The line of services offered by this team includes the following:

  • Mobilization of Systems Integration projects covering delivery processes and tools
  • Service Transition Management for outsourcing engagements
  • Service Management Consulting including Cross vendor Service Integration
  • Client Shared Service Establishment
  • Deployment of LEAN, Six Sigma, ITIL best practices
  • Deployment of global industrialized tools such as ServiceNow etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver IT projects involving automation and process re-engineering and deployment
  • Assist Solution Architects in creation of client facing materials for all solutions. 
  • Be actively involved in sales cycle to engage with client stakeholders and share the value proposition around automation and process re-engineering.
  • Lead delivery of sold automation and process deployment work and prepare the project to meet its contractual/delivery obligations  
  • Monitor progress to ensure project objectives are delivered on time and within budget, and planned results are realized. Be the final point of approval for contingency plans, scope changes. 
  • Monitor stakeholder expectations. Take corrective action to address gaps. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for the client and governance team for the project team. 
  • Monitor and maintain project team morale. 
  • Monitor project-level risks and mitigation. 
  • Provide project performance information to project sponsors per the schedule defined in performance reporting process. 
  • Work with APAC and ASEAN leadership team to develop capabilities in new service offerings in relation to Automation and Process. 

Must Have Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of key IT Delivery principles including Project and Program management, Service Management, Service Reporting, Customer Service Management, Program Management Office etc. 
  • Demonstrated ability in process analysis, design and deployment of customised solutions or tools to client’s requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading and driving change within IT organisations
  • Experience in managing small to medium projects and in key project management disciplines such as stakeholder management, budget control, work planning, people management, issue and risk management and benefits tracking
General Skills/Background:
  • Highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidence.
  • Comfortable interacting with executives from both Accenture and the client.
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
  • Ability to influence team members at all levels.
  • Strong interest in driving change.

  • ITIL Certified
  • LEAN/Six Sigma Certified
  • Specialized IT automation tool experience
  • ServiceNow Certified
