Mark Tham is the country managing director for Accenture in Singapore, with over 20 years of consulting experience. Prior to that, he led Health & Public Service in Southeast Asia and manages the key client relationships as the Client Group Lead.
His passion lies in assisting his clients to meet the needs of citizens, businesses and public servants by harnessing the power of transformative technologies and becoming a truly data-driven organisation that analyses, shares and acts on data insights to make a lasting difference in people’s lives and drives business growth. Some of his key projects include the National Digital Identity and the Central Provident Fund Board’s transformation to cloud and reimagining their customer experience.
In his career with Accenture, Mark has worked with clients in Australia, Brunei, Singapore and Vietnam. His recent work efforts include:
- Singapore Government Corporate Systems covering HR, Finance and Payroll to move to cloud
- National Digital Identity to provide citizens a single digital identity to transact with both the public and private sectors
- National Electronic Health Record, GP Connect, National Care and Case Management Programmes
- Singapore Civil Service HR transformation Programme
- The ACE program – an initiative by Ministry of Finance to integrate systems and operating environments at 21 statutory boards for human resource, payroll, finance and procurement functions into a common shared system
- MINDEF for a project to develop a HR Transformation Blueprint for its Armed Forces
- Brunei Prime Minister's Office for Government Wide Information System/Information Technology Planning Strategy Project
- Vietnam Ministry of Finance and Australia Queensland Government for government-wide Financial and HR business development work
Outside of Accenture, Mark serves as the Honorary Secretary of the ITMA Executive Council in Singapore. He is the Vice President of the Imperial College Alumni Association of Singapore, and he also sits on the Board of Directors of a few charities.
Mark graduated from the Imperial College London with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering with top honours. He is currently based in Singapore.
