About Grace

Grace is a Managing Director in Accenture’s Health and Public Services practice. She leads and manages key client relationships across Southeast Asia. She sits on both the Southeast Asia (SEA) Leadership Council and Global Leadership Committee at Accenture.

Grace’s life purpose is to enable people to build a better tomorrow. At Accenture, she works with organisations seeking growth and progress through digital transformation and sustainability. She is passionate about the people agenda and how people may thrive through change. Her experiences lie with Public Services and Financial Services industries.

Grace leads the Inclusion & Diversity Agenda for SEA, under her guidance, the region has made consistent progress in achieving equality across the pillars of gender, LGBTQ, Mental Wellness and People with Disabilities. In 2020, SEA was recognised in Accenture’s Equality Awards for making outstanding progress in both gender diversity and mental wellness. Until recently, she was the Head of HR for Accenture SEA. Grace was responsible for our SEA talent strategy, employee experiences, HR service delivery and SEA HR business partnership locally to bring our talent ambition to life in this important growth market. She led the vision to execution of the HR transformation of SEA HR. During which, the team won multiple awards externally and internally for Employee Experiences, Inclusion & Diversity and Recruiting. She was part of the Global HR Management Committee during her 3.5 year term in the role.

Prior to this, she was Chief Operating Officer of Group Human Resources for DBS Bank. DBS is a leading financial services group in Asia. She was responsible for building and running new HR capabilities such as Human Capital Analytics, HR Innovation, Employee Experience and Journeys.

Before becoming a Human Resources practitioner, she was a Managing Director at Accenture with 15 years’ experience and a track record of achieving business outcomes for her clients. She made Managing Director in 2012, one of the youngest females to do so in Singapore. Over the years, she has received multiple leadership awards in Accenture. Before embarking on a career in HR, her last role was leading for Management Consulting business in ASEAN for Health and Public Services. She has delivered more than 20 projects across Financial Services companies in Asia as well as the Public Services in Singapore. With clients in Public Services, she has architected change programs for complex multi-agency technology implementations and led experience centric projects. Across all her clients, her primary focus was on architecting and delivering human capital strategy and solutions with her clients to achieve business growth, transformation or major program outcomes.

Over the last 5 years, Grace has written and published a number of researches and articles across a variety of human capital topics which have been picked up by a number of newspapers, business and HR magazines across Asia. Grace served as a judge for Singapore’s Public Service, Excellence in Public Service Award, Best Practice award (4 year term 2017-2020). She is an active contributor to Singapore’s HR ecosystem and has been a member of Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) Professional Practices committee since 2018. She sits on the HR Committee for National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre and is also a member of Singapore’s WorkWell Leaders workgroup.

  • HR transformation blueprint for a Singapore Ministry. Project Director co-lead of a multi-year HR transformation blueprint involving shared services design. HR & Talent Strategy, Employee Segmentation & Analytics, Organisation Design, Service Delivery Design, Business Case, Implementation Planning
  • Service Management Framework and Operating Model for a Singapore Ministry. Project director for the re-design of service management framework. Design thinking methodology leveraged in the design of the new operating model (Service vision and philosophy, people, process and technology) and the implementation plan for execution
  • Large scale, complex cross agency change programs across whole-of-government initiatives. As change architect or Subject Matter Expert
  • Sales and Service Transformation in Retail Banking, Call Centre, Insurance Organisation. Lead in organisation design, change management and training
  • Post-Merger Integration Planning. HR, internal and external communications and branding workstream lead
  • Core Banking. Business process lead. Change management and training lead
